Future IDs get Real!

Futures IDs get Real! at The Bunny House in Echo Park, Los Angeles featured artwork produced during a month-long residency for returning citizens.

Sale and the core project participants welcomed the ARC community and the general public to engage in this collaborative process and practice. Organized more as an open studio than a standard exhibition, the space provided a forum for viewing completed and in progress ID-based artworks, gathering feedback, and building community momentum for the overall project.

Participants included Cirese LaBerge-Bader, Daniel Herron, Dr. Luis S. Garcia, Emiliano Lopez, Felix Lex Miranda, J Antonio Morales, Joe Ruano, JD Melendez,  Julio Quijada, Kirn Kim, Lily Gonzalez, Phillip Lester, Ryan Lo, Santiago Maya, and Yahniie Kaihry Bridges. (Special thanks to Mariah Lucas and Jason Clark.)

Thank you to Anti-Recidivism Coalition members – Emiliano Lopez, Aaron Mercado, Dominique Bell, Dr. Luis Garcia, RyanLo, and Kirn Kim  – and to Raul Baltaraz and Sara Daleidon, Co-directors, The Bunny House.
